The Altec USB Stick Copystation 21 offers the fastest duplication in a complete high end solution for the simultaneous copying of up to 21 USB Flash Drives. This is a complete bundled solution including all the software and hardware necessary (not including monitor) to begin copying USB sticks.
The package includes a complete Windows XP based system with 21 USB 2.0 ports and Altec's tried and true copystation software which has over 7 years of design experience built in. The software comes standard with the ability to make full image copies of your USB drives, with full verification as an optional per job setting.
In addition to the standard software which comes with the system, the following additional software options are also available which allows you to customize your copystation to suit your specific application.
1.) Short Image Copy. This option allows for the creation of "Short Images". A short image contains only the image of the actual data on the drive whereas the standard Full Image copies the entire drive, including the empty parts. The Short Image software speeds up the copy process significantly when the amount of data on your drive is much less then the capacity of the drive.
2.) File Copy. This option allows for the copying of files or directories from your computer to the flash drives in the Copystation. The standard software allows for the copying of image files only.
3.) Serialization. This option allows for the execution of extra software applications after the copy process has completed. That extra software (end user supplied) can add files or other custom elements based on any specified criteria .. allowing each finished drive to be unique.
